Hello there!

This publication will house essays on art that I understand - which will consist of movies, paintings, albums, and maybe computer games. I vet what I write by filtering it through the principle - “Write only what you know. Write about only what you felt”. It is my belief that a lot of artefacts produced now go unnoticed or ignored - the reason being any one that lie along the spectrum of “too commercial” to “snobbish/too European”. If something moves me, any tags/presuppositions/genres ascribed to it have to be shed and the piece itself has to be examined clinically while always being mindful of what the effect was in me. I want to see things for what they are - something I find increasingly difficult. The first letter will be about Persona - a film by a Swede - Ingmar Bergman, released 1966. The intent for the letter will be to stoke the curiosity of the skeptic who detests the experimental film.

My fan-made character poster for Alma played by Bibi Andersson

Another character poster - Elisabet played by Liv Ullman
